Cybersecurity assessment

ISO/SAE 21434:2021은 cybersecurity assessment를 사이버보안에 대한 판단으로 정의한다. 이 표준은 6절(project dependent cybersecurity management)에서 프로젝트 수준의 사이버보안 관리와 활동을 다룬다. 6절의 요구사항과 권고는 사이버보안 책임, 사이버보안 계획, tailoring, 재사용, out-of-context 컴포넌트, off-the-shelf 컴포넌트, cybersecurity case, cybersecurity assessment, post-development 릴리스로 나뉜다.[1]

Tailoring과 out-of-context

이 표준은 프로젝트의 활동을 정하는 데 쓰는 말을 다음처럼 정의한다.[1]

• Tailor: 표준이 기술한 활동을 생략하거나 다른 방식으로 수행하는 것
• Out-of-context: 특정 아이템의 맥락에서 개발되지 않은 것. 여러 아이템에 넣을 것을 전제로 사이버보안 요구사항을 가정해 두고 개발한 처리 장치가 그 예다.[1]

Cybersecurity case

이 표준은 cybersecurity case를 리스크가 불합리하지 않음을 밝히는, 증거로 뒷받침된 구조화된 논증으로 정의한다.[1]

Cybersecurity audit과의 차이

이 표준의 정의에서 audit은 프로세스를 검토하고, cybersecurity assessment는 사이버보안을 판단한다. 이 표준은 조직 사이버보안 감사(organizational cybersecurity audit)를 5절(organizational cybersecurity management)의 요구사항과 권고에 둔다.[1]
