IEEE 1722.1은 시간에 민감한 네트워킹 시스템을 위한 장치 발견, 연결 관리, 제어 프로토콜을 정하는 IEEE 표준이다. 정식 제목은 “IEEE Standard for Device Discovery, Connection Management, and Control Protocol for Time-Sensitive Networking System”이다.[1] Avnu Alliance의 자동차 AVB 명세 Rev 1.6은 IEEE 1722.1-2013을 AVDECC(Audio Video Discovery, Enumeration, Connection and Control)라 부른다.[2]

IEEE 802 기반 네트워크에서 IEEE 1722 기반 스트림을 쓰는 오디오·비디오 엔드 스테이션이 서로 운용되도록, 그 프로토콜과 장치 발견, 연결 관리, 장치 제어 절차를 정한다.[1]
개정 이력
- 2013년: 첫판. IEEE 1722 기반 장치를 위한 장치 발견, 연결 관리, 제어 프로토콜 표준으로 나왔고, 뒤에 정오표 1722.1-2013/Cor 1-2018이 나왔다.[3]
- 2021년: 2판. 2013년판을 대체했고, 제목의 대상이 IEEE 1722 기반 장치에서 시간에 민감한 네트워킹 시스템으로 바뀌었다. 이 판 뒤로 정오표 1722.1-2021/Cor 1-2025가 나왔다.[1][3]
- 2026년: 2021년판을 대체할 개정 프로젝트 P1722.1의 PAR(Project Authorization Request)이 2026년 2월에 승인되었다. 이 프로젝트는 IEEE 802 TSN 표준을 쓰는 시스템 사이의 스트림 설정·제어·해제 프로토콜과 장치 발견, 연결 관리, 장치 제어 절차를 범위로 한다.[4]
